Sirsi: JD(S) State President H D Kumaraswamy, on Wednesday, dubbed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as a ‘mad person’ for comparing his government with that of the administration of Mysuru Wadiyars.

Kumaraswamy said, Siddaramaiah was not even born during the administration of Wadiyar dynasty and comparing his Congress government with Mysuru kings, which unacceptable.

No security

He also condemned the move of Congress activist, in Kalaburagi, who assaulted a farmer claiming that he had not greeted him. One cannot gain people’s love by harassing them. Such incidents are repeating during Congress rule. In the present situation, there is no security for public especially women, he charged.

Likewise, Kumaraswamy said Union Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Anant Kumar Hegde with his statements and use of words, leaves one wondering whether Hegde was a Hindu or not after listening to his statements.

“When Uttar Pardesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath has failed to take up develop developmental works in his State, what is the use of calling him to Karnataka for BJP campaign,” he added.
