Kumta: A woman was run over by a mini lorry, near Hegde Railway Bridge, in the taluk, on Wednesday.

Sukanya Dattatrey Bhat (48), a resident of Vivek Nagar, who skidded on road loosing control over her scooty was run over by the mini lorry.

A case has been registered against lorry driver Santosh Rodrigus.
