Kumta: A 37-Year-Old man committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree on the morning of 9th November, Thursday. The incident occurred near Dundakuli region in the taluk.

The deceased was identified as Parameshwar Beera Gauda.

Sources informed that his body on the early morning hours was found hanging to a tree which is located near his house. The reason behind taking this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

As the information was alerted, Kumta police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigations.

A case has been registered in Kumta police station.
