Siddapur: MLA Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri called upon people to make maximum use of various opportunities when they present themselves in one’s life.

Speaking at the exhibition of readymade clothes produced at the training camp, organised under the special unit scheme of Green India Mission, at Shakthi Ganapati Hall, in Tarali, he said, women were getting organised with the help of women’s self-help groups. The increase in awareness among women and women starting self-employment ventures are very good developments.

The training camp was organised jointly by Forest Department, Sampagoda and Kunaji’s village forest committees, and Aadhar Education, Self-Employment, and Rural Development Association.

Sampagoda Village Forest Committee Chairman Ganapati Ram Naik presided over the programme. Taluk Panchayat President Sudheer Goudar was the chief guest. Zilla Panchayat member M G Hegade Gejje, and others were present. Later, participants of camp were handed over certificates.
