Dandeli: In an incident, a 43 year-old Vinod Nayar, who is a  resident of Maruti Nagar in the town committed suicide by hanging himself at a forest area near APMC in the town on Friday night.

It is said that he was selling tender coconuts in front of Gagi Hospital on J N Road in the town. Police sources said that the exact reason for the suicide is yet to know. 

A case has been registered at the urban police station.
