Udupi: In a tragic accident which occurred at the new bus stop of Byndoor, a man lost his life after a speeding bus knocked his bike down on 15th January, Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Abraham Kalapar (33yrs).

According to sources, Abraham worked as a warden and was on his way to hospital along with a pillion rider at midnight on Monday. He was passing through the Byndoor new bus stop when a speeding bus knocked them down along with his bike.

Both had suffered severe injuries and were immediately shifted to hospital by locals. However, Abraham succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.

A case stands registered at Byndoor police station.
