Mangaluru: In an accident which occurred here in the outskirts of the city at Kallapu near Ullal, a teenager lost his life after he was crushed to death under the wheels of a reckless tempo during late night on 22nd January, Monday.
The deceased youth has been identified as Mohammed Shakib (19), s/o Mohammed Basheer, a resident of Amblamogaru.
According to the sources, Shakib was on his bike travelling late night on Monday when a tempo carrying fish hit his bike and knocked him down near Ullal bridge. Shakib was crushed under the wheels of the tempo and succumbed to his injuries.
A case has been registered at the jurisdictional police station.
