Mangaluru: In a tragic incident between a car and a motorcycle at Yeyyadi, a youth lost his life while another sustained serious injuries on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Pushparaj (22yrs), a resident of Bajal here.

According to sources, Pushparaj was on his way home from workplace with his friend. His friend was riding the motorcycle and when they were passing through Yeyyadi, their bike rammed into a car.

Due to the impact, both incurred severe injuries and the duo was rushed to a hospital by locals who gathered at the spot. However, Pushparaj breathed his last soon after reaching the hospital.

Kadri police arrived at the spot and a case has been registered at Kadri police station.
