Mangaluru: A 65-Year-Old woman died after she had an accidental fatal fall from the roof of her house in Shakti Nagar region near Mangaluru.

The deceased was identified as Elizabeth Veigas.

Reports say that the victim used to collect and store a stock of the betel leaves on the roof of her house and sold it in the weekly bazaar. She had gone to the roof, to collect the leaves when she slipped and fell down.

With several limb injuries, she was rushed to the hospital where she also complained of chest pain after undergoing a scan. Although her treatment was on, she breathed her last.
