Mangaluru: 13-year-old boy drowned in a pool of water that had accumulated in an abandoned stone quarry in Adyar Padavu in Mangaluru Rural Police limits on 9th July,  Monday.

According to the sources, the victim Tameem had gone along with a few of his friends for swimming in the quarry on Sunday evening. He got stuck in the quarry.

On Monday morning, the local swimmers recovered Tameem’s body.
