Mangaluru: A 7-Year-Old boy reportedly died after drowning in a tank near Umashiva temple at Gerukatte near Kalladka on 24th November, Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Sriram S/o Satyanarayana, a school teacher in Mangaluru.

Sources said that the incident happened when Sriram had gone to attend his grand father's ceremony when he accidentally slipped and drowned. Immediately after the incident, he was rushed to the hospital. But sadly, he breathed his last on the way.
