Mangaluru: Close on the heels of KPCC President D K Shivakumar's directions, the new executive committee of Mangaluru City Block Congress Committee was formed. New office-bearers have also been appointed, said Prakash B Salian, new president of City Block Congress.

Salian told media persons at Patrika Bhavan on Wednesday that the order letters will be handed over to the new office-bearers.

The new office-bearers are Surendra Shenoy, Shekhar Shetty, Liyaquat Shah, Jayaram Karanduru, Stephen Nelson Monteiro, Shamshuddin Bunder, Mamata Shetty, Yusuf Ucchil, Sohan D’Souza and Kanakadas - vice presidents, Chetan Kumar, Raghuraj Kadri, Yogish Nayak and Tanvir Shah - general secretaries, Dr Rajesh Kadri - media secretary among others.
