Mangaluru: Hackers operating from UK swindle Indian man off 70 thousand rupees

Mangaluru: A shocking incident has been reported, where a credit card hackers from Britain swindled nearly 70,000 rupees from a Mangaluru man.

The victim who came under hacker's net is identified as Naga Shiroor.

According to reports, it is said that on 19th November, Sunday, around 70 thousand rupees were deducted from Naga's account with four times card hacking process. Next day morning, when he received a withdrawn message from the bank, he immediately cancelled the card. Naga also filed a complaint in Citi Bank president's office, which is located in China. Later after certain investigations, it was found that his card was hacked from Britain.

A case has been registered in Kadri police station and further investigations are on.
