Mangaluru: An incident was reported, where an unknown elderly woman was killed after a being hit by a train near Tokkattu. The deceased woman is said to be of age between 60 to 70 years.

The incident happened in the early morning hours on overbridge of Tokkattu. It is suspected that she was hit by a train while crossing the railway track.

The body was then shifted to Wenlock hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered at the police station.
