Mangaluru: Anil Kumar (34), a resident of Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district, has been apprehended by Suratkal Police for uploading a video on social media containing offensive language directed towards Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. 

The accused, expressing frustration over his name not being included in the ration card, which consequently deprived him of government scheme benefits, admitted to creating the video out of anger.

The complaint leading to the arrest was filed by Suhan Alva from Attavar.
