Mangaluru: Three youth were arrested by anti-rowdy squad sleuths in the city on the charges of snatching chain. The accused were identified as Allwyn (37) of Akasha Bhavana, Maneesh Ram (20) of Ashok Nagar and Ashwin (22) of Deralkatte.

It was said that the trio were engaged in snatching chains on the pretext of seeking address. There are six cases registered in Mangaluru rural, Kankanady town, Mangaluru East, Kavoor, and Ullal police station jurisdiction.

The police have recovered gold ornaments, a two-wheeler, and a scooter along with mobile phone from the accused. The value of the seized property is estimated as Rs. 4,57,150.
