Mangaluru: Two more accused in connection with Deepak Rao's murder have been arrested by the police on 15th January, Monday.

The arrested accused have been identified as Abdul Azeez (42yrs) and Abdul Azeem (34yrs), both residents of Katipalla.

Deepak was murdered earlier this month on 3rd January by four assailants, who arrived in a white Maruti Swift and hacked him to death before escaping from the spot. However, the police officials were successful in arresting four accused the same evening after a dramatic car chase.

The police had taken Mohammed Naushad (22yrs), Mohammed Irshan (21yrs), Mohammed Nawaz (23yrs) and Rizwan (24yrs) under custody and after interrogation they found out that some more people were involved in the case.

Hence, a special team was formed and Azeez and Azeem were successfully arrested by Panambur inspector Rafiq and CCB police personnel led by inspector Shantaram.
