Bhatkal: MAPS college of Mangaluru bagged the overall championship title in the "Arcana'18", a management festival, organized by the Department of Management Studies (MBA) of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) in Bhatkal, while Bhandarkar's Arts and Science College, Kundapur were the runners-up.

Professor Dr. Muhammed Jameel Manik, Corporate Trainer and consultant of Global Business School, Hubballi was the chief guest of the event.

A mix of managerial and cultural events, the fest turned out to be a test of skill for the budding managers. The event tested overall skills including time management, stress management, selling skills, and communication skills.

The championship team was given away with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 along with an attractive trophy. More than 20 teams from across the state participated in the event. Prizes worth 1 lakh were distributed among the participants.

The event was chaired by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen's Vice President Mr. Abdul Rahim Damudi.

On this occasion AHM general secretary Siddique Ismail, additional Secretary Ishaq Shabandri, AITM secretary Abubaker Ali Kasimji,  college board secretary Javed Hussain Armar, Principal Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bhavikatti, Prof. Zahid Hasan Kharuri and many others were present.
