Udupi:  A 22-year-old youth, who was allegedly operating a matka, gambling business with his smart phone, was arrested by the Udupi Town police.

The accused youth was identified as Kaushik, a resident of Kukkikatte. Acting on a tip off that Kaushik was into gambling, police verified his smart phone. During interrogation, Kaushik confessed to collecting money from customers. Udupi Town police seized the smart phone and have registered a case against him.
