Bhatkal: In an incident that reported on late night on Saturday, three bikes which were parked in front of the house caught fire and were reduced to ashes. The incident happened near Mavinkurve of Talkod limits in the taluk.

The bikes which caught fire belonged to Ramesh Nagappa Kharvi of Bhatkal, Nagaraj Nagesh Tandel of Honnavar and Narayan Ganapathi Mesta.

According to reports, the incident happened when they had been to a marriage ceremony of their relatives. It is yet to be ascertained about how the fire caught the vehicles.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station.
