Karwar: Robbers made away with mobile phones and cash form two shops near Kodibagh Road in Karwar on Friday night while the incident came to light on Saturday morning.

According to sources, robbers broke open the locks of both the shops and gained entry into them, later made away with 10 mobile phones worth Rs 80,000 and cash of Rs 30,000 from ‘My Dream’ mobile shop and Rs 15,000 cash from Parijatha Pan shop.

Cases has been registered in Karwar police station.
