Bhatkal: An incident was reported at Murdeshwar near here, where two people present during the setting up of the upcoming fair were shocked by the electric current from nearby transformer on 13th January, Saturday.
The injured shopkeepers have been identified as Sadlanga Shisavnal (19) and Das Harikanth (35).
According to sources, both of them experienced the electric shock during setting temporary shop for the fair. The electricity passed through them due from an iron rod which was near a transformer.
They were immediately taken to the hospital and are being treated at Bhatkal government hospital. Doctors have told that both of them are out of danger.
The police personnel visited the spot and conducted investigation.
