Kumta: Kumta police have arrested a person named Nagaraj Subray Shet, on the charges of selling liquor illegally at Holegadde in the taluk on Saturday.

Police have also seized Rs 1,000 from the arrested person.

PSI E C Sampat said that residents of Holegadde filed a complaint against Nagaraj at Kumta Police Station, based on which, police conducted raid on his shop, he added.
