Karwar: A pipeline laying work has disrupted water supply at Port Colony in Karwar.

MMCL Company has taken up the pipeline laying work from Baitakhol port to Aligadda area in the town. Following this, water supply to the port colony stopped since two days.

The residents said, the pipeline laying work for an oil depot is going on since three days. Telephone cables and drinking water supplying pipeline were damaged while digging the ground for the work. As a result, water wasted. The authorities concerned have turned a blind eye towards the problem, they charged.
