Mangaluru: A protest was staged by the members of KSRTC Staff and Workers Union on 25th January, Thursday against the failure of the CM in fulfilling various demands made by the employees.
The protest was led by the Union affiliated to the AITUC in front of the KSRTC bus stand at Bejai. The protesters staged a demonstration and demanded cancellation of the unlawful transfers to reinstate the affected employees.
They also demanded that all the four transport corporations be merged into one and that all the employees from Mangaluru and Puttur also be reinstated.
Union office bearers G S Praveen Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Vinay Kumar and others took part in the protest.
