KND members Raghvendra Naik and Sachin Kharvi, under the guidance of Coast Guard Circle Police Inspector Kosumadhar, launched a swift rescue operation. Despite the challenging conditions of the turbulent Arabian Sea, they managed to locate and pull Samartha out of the water.
Following the rescue, Samartha was rushed to Bhatkal Government Hospital for initial treatment and was later transferred to Kundapur Hospital for further care. The quick response and coordination between the Coast Guard and KND were instrumental in saving the young boy's life.
