Mangaluru: Tyagaraj, an ambulance driver, was fined for using his ambulance for a private trip to Dharmasthala and Ujire from Bengaluru with his six friends.

Police stopped the ambulance near Ujire and seized it after receiving information about the misuse.

Tyagaraj admitted to using the ambulance for a temple tour, and traffic police let him off with a penalty and warning.
