Bhatkal: The government of Karnataka has undertaken a significant administrative change by transferring Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Prabhuling Kavalikatti, and appointing Gangubai Ramesh Manakar as the new Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada district.

Gangubai Ramesh Manakar, a seasoned officer from the 1998 K.A.S. batch, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She has previously served as the Secretary of the Karnataka State Information Commission, Bangalore, and also held the position of Kumta Sub Divisional Officer. Her dedication and competence led to her promotion to IAS in 2018.

In the official notification issued by the Karnataka Government, the new posting for the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Prabhuling Kavalikatti, has not been mentioned
