New Delhi (PTI) The central government has failed on all fronts and has done nothing except showing dreams to people, the Janata Dal (United) said on Saturday.

Party spokesperson Rajib Ranjan attacked the government as it gears up to celebrate its ninth anniversary and claimed that it is solely running on “publicity” and has been unable to fulfil fully any of its promises to people.

“People are feeling cheated and the BJP should tell as to how many farmers’ income has been doubled as it has promised,” he said in a statement.

The BJP had promised to reduce the prices of petrol and diesel but they have only gone up and have not been slashed despite the fall in crude prices, Ranjan said.

He also posted questions on unemployment and the quantum of black money brought back from abroad that the BJP had promised.

Only big businessmen like “Ambani and Adani” have prospered under this government, he alleged, saying the project to clean Ganga has failed despite huge expenditure.

The government in its nine years has used the ED and the CBI to target opposition parties, stoked communal feelings and misled people, Ranjan alleged.
