Mangaluru: District In-Charge Secretary Atheeq urged officials to ensure the effective implementation of government guarantee schemes, ensuring their accessibility to all beneficiaries. 

During a review meeting at the DC's office in Mangaluru, he emphasized resolving technical issues related to bank accounts that have led to 33,419 out of 3.44 lakh beneficiaries not receiving benefits under the Gruha Lakshmi scheme.

Further, Atheeq instructed officials to rectify these technical glitches promptly, ensuring that all beneficiaries receive the allocated Rs 2,000 monthly under the program.

Concerning the Health Department schemes, Atheeq stressed the importance of extending government benefits to all pregnant women and specifically highlighted the distribution of iron supplement tablets to anemic pregnant women. 

Additionally, the District In-Charge Secretary made a visit to various government-operated hostels, engaging with the residents and inspecting the facilities. Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan M P and several others were also in attendance during the visit.
