Mangaluru: Gold valued at Rs 46.52 lakh was confiscated in Mangaluru as a result of rigorous monitoring by customs officials.

Recently, five passengers who had arrived from Dubai on separate flights (IX814, IX384, 6E1163) were apprehended. They were found to be in possession of 775 grams of gold, which had been concealed in paste form, hidden between layers of their clothing such as vests and underwear, as well as within the air pods and beading rods within their trolley bags.
