Mangaluru: A married woman was found dead in a well in Jyothinagar, Macharu, Belal on Friday. 

The deceased is identified as Shashikala (25).

Police officers from Beltangady and Dharmasthala visited the scene and  forensic science team from Mangaluru also to visit the spot.

Shashikala's husband, Sudhakar Naik, has been detained by police.
