Masked Thieves Rob Garage in Bhatkal, Make Off with Cash and Mobile Phones

Bhatkal: A robbery was took place at Shivananda Garage on National Highway 66, in which two masked thieves made off with Rs 140,000 in cash and mobile phones.

According to a complaint filed at Bhatkal Town Police Station, the thieves entered the garage, owned by Shankar Naik of Mankuli, by breaking the lock of the shutter at night. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage.

One of the thieves was wearing a fake plastic face mask, while the other was wearing black clothes.

The garage owner discovered the robbery upon arriving to open the garage in the morning. He immediately informed the police. 

A police team arrived at the spot and inspected it. They also filed a complaint and called in the dog squad to assist with the investigation.

The police are currently investigating the incident and are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
