Mangaluru: The police of Mangaluru city police arrested a thief and recovered stolen items including a gold chain worth Rs 2.41 lakh.

The arrested has been identified as  Chandrashekar alias Darling Chandra (29) from Ramanagara district. 

The police arrested Chandra near Bangrakulur and recovered 21.2 gm of a Tali, a motorcycle, and two phones.
