Mangaluru: The Election Commission has recently unveiled the revised draft voters’ list for Dakshina Kannada, revealing a total of 17,85,835 registered voters. Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan announced that the public has the opportunity to contest any entries or request amendments in the list until December 9.

Moreover, there will be special registration campaigns on November 18, 19, December 2, and 3, according to Muhilan.

The breakdown of voters across different constituencies is as follows: Mangaluru - 2,05,759; Mangaluru South - 2,46,665; Mangaluru North - 2,50,590; Belthangady - 2,29,429; Bantwal - 2,27,685; Puttur - 2,12,892; Sullia - 2,06,704; and Moodbidri - 2,06,111. Notably, the district also accounts for 77 registered transgender voters.
