Bhatkal: Indian Nawayath Forum (INF) is actively involved in a range of initiatives aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the residents of Bhatkal. The organization consistently introduces new programs to cater to these needs. In a recent development, INF has chosen to contribute a mortuary van to address the difficulties encountered by the community in transferring deceased individuals from their homes to the burial grounds.
During a press briefing, Nauman Patel, the General Secretary of INF, conveyed that during the biannual meeting of INF held on August 12th in Bangalore, a pertinent concern emerged. It was noted that in Bhatkal, the process of transporting deceased individuals from their residences to the cemetery relies on vehicles such as Goods Tempo and Goods Auto. Subsequent to receiving unanimous approval from the members present, the decision was reached to procure a dedicated van exclusively for the purpose of transporting deceased individuals. Financial provisions have also been earmarked to facilitate this initiative. Nauman Patel further emphasized that the acquisition of the van will be carried out by INF and the vehicle will subsequently be handed over to a local social organization in Bhatkal.
Notably, INF has been instrumental in establishing the Dialysis Center in Bhatkal, located within the Welfare Complex near the Old Bus Stand. This facility has been operational for the past two years, equipped with four dialysis machines. Remarkably, the center accommodates a monthly average of 160 to 180 individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. Additionally, INF has orchestrated two comprehensive employment fairs, effectively assisting numerous unemployed individuals in securing gainful employment opportunities. Another notable achievement is the successful execution of a three-day trade expo, serving as a testament to INF's impactful contributions.
