Bhatkal: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Bhatkal unit is organizing a district-level Essay Competition scheduled to be held from September 28th to October 6th, as announced by the organizer of the essay competition, Mr. M R Manvi.

In a press release, he mentioned that the quiz will revolve around the theme "Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) – Architect of an Equal Society," in connection with the Seerat campaign 2023, which is set to take place from September 28th to October 6th, in commemoration of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birth anniversary. Additionally, he emphasized that essays must reach the organizer by post on or before September 25th.

It has been specified that essays should be composed exclusively in the Kannada language and submitted via postal mail. Moreover, essays should not exceed 500 words. Clarity in presenting the subject matter is of paramount importance; essays that primarily focus on the Prophet's birth, family, and historical aspects will not be considered for the competition. Handwritten submissions are preferred, and participants are required to include a recent photograph with their entries.

The competition will grant the first prize winner Rs. 5,000, the second prize winner Rs. 3,000, and the third prize winner Rs. 2,000, along with a certificate for each. Furthermore, five consolation prizes of Rs. 500 each will be awarded, as outlined in the press release.
