Kundapur: A speeding car fatally struck a 70-year-old pedestrian while he was crossing the road at Maski on Sunday.

The deceased had been identified as Govinda Kharvi from Navunda.

The unfortunate incident occurred when the car veered out of control, leading to the fatal mishap.
