Mangaluru: Presidents will be appointed soon for corporations and boards in the state. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that MLAs will be given priority in the first phase and activists will be allowed in the second phase.
The Chief Minister, who came to participate in the World War Conference organized in Udupi, spoke to the media representatives at the Mangaluru International Airport.
When asked about the absence of Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Sivakumar at the home minister's house dinner party, he said, "Secretary G. Parameshwar called him home for dinner. I and some ministers went. Apart from the Lokabhirama talks, no politics took place there. There is no need to interpret it differently," he responded.
"CBI has investigated the case of honor killing. Therefore, the central government should think about re-investigation," he replied to a question.
When asked about Belthangadi MLA Harish Poonja writing on Facebook that CM Siddaramaiah is the collection master, he said, "I became an MLA in 1983 and then became a minister. Harish Poonja is still alive," he said.
