Mangaluru: A man has died after reportedly jumping into a well in Kumpala Hanuman Nagar, Ullal.

The deceased has been identified as Naveen, 43.

He was grappling with mental depression and profound disillusionment with life, leading him to take his own life by jumping into the well.

A case has been registered at Ullal police station.
