Mangaluru: In a heartbreaking incident near Vittal, a young man identified as Karthik (24) from Ukkuda Darbe lost his life after venturing into a water-filled stone quarry pit for a swim. 

Police suspect that he may have slipped, leading to the tragic drowning.
