Pema Khandu Sworn in as Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister

Itanagar: Pema Khandu took the oath of office as Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister on Thursday for the third consecutive term after being elected as the BJP's legislature party leader in the state assembly yesterday.

Chowna Mein, a senior party leader, was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister. The ceremony was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers J P Nadda and Kiren Rijiju, and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
