Mangaluru: A fatal electrocution incident occurred at Mallarmadi in Dharmasthala on Friday, claiming the life of a 49-year-old man. 

Balakrishna Shetty, the victim, lost his life while working at his neighbor's plantation.

 The unfortunate incident took place when the aluminum ladder he was using to trim branches accidentally made contact with a live wire. 

Despite being promptly transferred to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
