Two drowned in Shiroor, Arabian Sea near Bhatkal during Fishing

Bhatkal: Tragedy struck as two young individuals lost their lives due to drowning in the Arabian Sea during a fishing expedition in the neighboring village of Shiroor, Kesarkodi. Meanwhile, the other two members of the group managed to make their way safely back to the shore. This unfortunate incident took place on Sunday evening.

The two missing individuals have been identified as Musaab Gangoli, the son of Mustafa, and Nehzan, the son of Noorul Amin. Both were aged between 18 to 20 years.

Reports indicate that Musaab was pursuing his final year of BCom at Anjuman College Bhatkal, while Nehzan hshiroor-drown-missingad returned from Dubai merely three to four days before the incident. The ill-fated event occurred while all four family members were engaged in fishing in the Arabian Sea.

In response to the incident, numerous fishermen and local youths promptly initiated a search operation with the aid of boats. Despite their efforts, the darkness of the evening hindered the search, and both individuals remained unlocated.

Upon receiving information about the incident, personnel from the Byndoor police, fire brigade, and Coastal Security Police promptly rushed to the scene to assist with the situation.
