Udupi: The Chief Civil Judge of Udupi and the JMFC Court has decided to extend the judicial custody of Praveen Chowgule, the prime suspect in the Nejaru murder case.
The case involves the tragic killing of four members of a single family.
Initially set until December 18, Praveen's custody has now been extended until December 30. The accused, currently held at Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru, appeared before Judge Deepa via video conferencing. Senior Assistant Public Prosecutor H M Nadaf was present during the hearing, marking another chapter in the ongoing legal proceedings.
