Udupi: The body of Ravindra Bhat (55), a Udupi resident and a salesman at an electronics showroom, who jumped off the Udyavar bridge on Wednesday morning, has been located.

Ravindra Bhat had left his home in the morning to pick up a parcel but never returned. Subsequently, his scooter and footwear were discovered near the bridge, raising suspicions that he might have jumped into the river.

After an extensive search, his body was discovered in the evening.

The reason behind the suicide remains unknown.
