Udupi: Noor Mohammed, the husband of the woman who was murdered along with her three sons in Udupi district on Sunday, has demanded the early arrest of the accused.

"I am ready to provide all kinds of cooperation to the police investigation. I have handed over my and my children's mobile phones to the police. I am shocked to hear that some media reported that the reason for this murder was family feud. There is no truth in it," Noor said.

He added that his wife and children had accompanied him to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he worked, for 15 years. They had returned to India to celebrate Ramzan and were supposed to return to Saudi Arabia in 15 days.

"My daughter Ainaz is an air hostess in Air India and she had to go to Dubai at 11 am on the day of the murder. My eldest daughter was doing her post-graduation in Mangalore and was supposed to return to Saudi Arabia after completing her education next year. I had plans to paint the house and marry my eldest son and daughter next year," Noor said.

He said that he does not want to talk about finances publicly. "I am afraid to send my son outside. We don't know who is behind us and around us," he said.
