Karwar: The SSLC Main Examinations will be conducted from March 25 to April 6 at 73 examination centers across Uttara Kannada district. Deputy Commissioner Gangubai Maankar emphasized the importance of conducting these examinations transparently and orderly, ensuring no illegal activities or untoward incidents occur at the examination centers. To maintain a secure environment, a 200-meter area surrounding all examination centers will be under the protection of Section 144 from the start to the end of the examination period, declared as a prohibited area. Consequently, Xerox shops and cyber cafes within this perimeter will be ordered to close during this time.
Free Bus Travel for Students:
To facilitate the commute of students attending the SSLC annual examinations from March 25 to April 6, arrangements have been made for free travel on buses. Students are required to present their SSLC examination admit card to access free transportation to and from their designated examination centers. The North-West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) announced in a press release that students are eligible for free travel on city and rural routes, including regular and express NWKRTC buses, during the examination period.
