Mangaluru: In a ghastly collision between a bike and an auto rickshaw here near Derlakatte mosque, the bike rider lost his life on 25th February, Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Muhammed Samsheer (21yrs) s/o Abdul Hameed, a resident of Amblamogaru here.
According to sources, the tragic accident occurred on Sunday night when Shamsheer was on his way home from the mobile store he worked at. His bike collided with an auto rickshaw coming from opposite direction near Derlakatte.
Samsheer was critically injured due to the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital by locals. However, he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
A case stands registered at Mangaluru South Traffic police station.
