Dubai: The much-awaited Uttara Kannada Premier League – Season 2, organized by AL ARMAN, concluded successfully on 9th November 2025 at Al Batyeh Ground, Sharjah–UAE, marking a memorable celebration of cricket, community spirit, and togetherness.
A total of six teams participated in the tournament, displaying exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout. The grand finale witnessed a thrilling contest between Royal Samsi Cricketers and RMK Challengers (Haldipur). After a hard-fought battle, RMK Challengers Haldipur emerged as the champions of Season 2.
RMK Challengers Haldipur clinched the top title, while Royal Samsi Cricketers managed to be the runners up.
The organizers extended heartfelt thanks to all the participating teams, captains, match officials, sponsors, and supporters for their invaluable contributions in making the event a resounding success. Special appreciation was conveyed to the captains for their inspiring leadership and to the volunteers whose dedication and teamwork ensured the smooth conduct of the tournament.
The opening ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Mufti Nihal Akhtar, Dr. Ismail Talkhani (Samsi), President of Sharavati Council Apkar Khaja, General secretary Muzaffar Saralgi, Abdullah Sukri (Valki), Irfan Javali (Banvasi), B.H. Mastan (Samsi), and Husain Sab (Samsi), among others, whose presence added great value and encouragement to the event.
The Uttara Kannada Premier League Season 2 not only showcased outstanding cricketing talent but also brought the Uttara Kannada diaspora in Dubai together, reinforcing unity, brotherhood, and the love for the game within the community.
